Healing With Horses Project

Alexia Leclercq partnered with Healing with Horses Ranch, a therapeutic riding nonprofit, to design and paint a vibrant mural celebrating the healing relationship between humans, horses, and land. The playful mural depicts aliens abducting items that have gone missing at the ranch with a horse nearby.

In addition to the mural, Alexia documented the ranch through photography that captures the care, movement, and quiet magic of the horse and human connection, highlighting the emotional and environmental dimensions of the organization’s work. She also contributed original illustrations to a coloring book created as a community fundraiser, extending the project’s impact beyond the site itself.

Together, these efforts supported the ranch’s mission by using art to amplify visibility, storytelling, and the restorative power of equine-assisted healing.
